Day 20: What's In My Shower?

Today I’m giving you a glimpse into my bathroom, or more specifically, my shower. This is because my bathroom is a bit of a mess at a moment. Eek! I’ll fix it, I swear. On my current rotation, I have:

John Frieda Full Repair Conditioner: I’ve heard rave reviews. I hate it. It leaves my hair feeling dry and brittle, and it’s ten times more tangly than usually is. I don’t see how this works for other people. It’s just… no.

Philosophy The Microdelivery Exfoliating Wash: I can’t use it on my face, but it makes an amazing exfoliator for preventing those pesky zits that pop up now and again on the body.

Phyto Phytojoba Mask: This is the stuff I’ve been using to rescue my hair from the John Frieda conditioner. It works like a charm, replenishes moisture, and never weighs down the hair in spite of his hydrating qualities.

Korres Sensitive Skin Face and Body Wash: Again, I don’t use it on my face, but it makes a great body wash. It has a nice, herbal smell I love but might not be for everyone.

Origins Incredible Spreadable Smoothing Ginger Body Scrub: I love this stuff! It’s gentle but definitely does the job. It’s the best scrub I’ve ever tried. Granted, I haven’t tried many, but I stand by my assessment.

Pantene Expert Collection AgeDefy Shampoo: After making my favorites list at least once — possibly twice; I can’t remember — I’m still using this almost every time I wash my hair. It’s so lovely, nourishing without being greasy, and it smells amazing.

Tin Roof Perfect Tin: Yes, beer. It tastes foul, but I use it as a rinse. The vitamins and minerals found in a good, old fashioned brewski are amazing for the hair. It really adds shine.
